This popup shows up every time I open Davinci Resolve. When I click "Update Configuration", there is nothing below the GPU Processing Mode drop-down. In the box below "GPU Selection", my GPU is there, but it's grayed out. I ran a Windows Update and it says I am up-to-date. If you want do some effects to it, you have to drop an effect onto the png from the left side first. Click on EFFECTS on the left side of the page.and drag it onto the png. THEN, the effects controls will light up on the upper right side.If you’ve generated optimized media or proxies, it defaults to whatever you’d selected at the time of generating those. Since those aren’t RAW, there’s nothing that’s going to be changing. HEIF is a format promoted by Apple, and that promises that we finally will make a step past JPEG. Previously several attempts failed, e.g. Jpeg2000 and several ... For the clips with filters, I can decompose in place no problem. Clips with speed changes will not decompose (menu item greyed out). Sometimes, I can force conform the clip from the Media Pool, and that will take care of the situation, sometimes when I try to do that, the clip on the timeline turns in to a still frame which is very odd.Then the controls should be available. Be aware that only the studio version of Resolve includes access to all OFX plugins. If you have the free version, you might not be able to use that sharpen plugin. However you can use the built in sharpen/ blur options. The icon next to the tracker opens up the blur/mist/sharpen tool. It seems that if you had two nodes connected via a layer mixer, then deleted the layer mixer and plugged one of the nodes directly into the Main Output, Davinci Resolve will glitch and the nodes will turn gray (and any adjustments to the nodes will have no effect).
